Clinical Training
The Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology offers comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative services for individuals with hearing, speech, and language disorders.
1. In Audiology, diagnostic evaluations include Pure Tone Audiometry, Speech Audiometry, Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), Immittance Audiometry, Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA), Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (VEMP), Videonystagmography (VNG), and other specialized tests, along with Hearing Aid Trials. Rehabilitation services are available for individuals with hearing impairment, vestibular disorders, and tinnitus.
2. In Speech-Language Pathology, the department provides assessment and therapy for a wide range of conditions including childhood language disorders, articulation and fluency disorders, voice disorders, adult language disorders, motor speech disorders in both children and adults, as well as swallowing difficulties
Students receive hands-on clinical training in advanced Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology departments, gaining valuable exposure to the assessment and rehabilitation of individuals across all age groups with speech, language, and hearing disorders. Training is provided using the latest diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
As part of the 4th-year internship programme, students are also placed in reputed institutions both within Kerala and in other states, further enhancing their clinical competence and professional experience.
Hostels
The college offers safe, secure, and well-maintained hostels that are clean, comfortably furnished, and equipped with hygienic vegetarian and non-vegetarian dining options, managed by the college administration.Recreational amenities include indoor and outdoor games as well as television facilities. A resident warden is present to ensure the well-being and safety of students, and to coordinate immediate assistance during medical emergencies. The hostel strictly upholds a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, tobacco use, and substance abuse, fostering a healthy and disciplined living environment.
Library
Our Library is equipped with books of national and international authors and journals on different subjects. The library is also equipped with RCI-sponsored Edusat.
Campus Amenities
Campus has a well-maintained canteen facility along with a general store run bystudents council, which provides most of the essential items for daily needs. Wifi connectivity available. To ensure safety and security, the entire campus is monitored 24 x 7 CCTV surveillance.
Women-Friendly Campus
The campus is under 24x7 CCTV surveillance, with cameras strategically placed to help prevent incidents of harassment or violence, especially against women.An active SSGP and GRCS wing is also present on campus to listen to student concerns and take prompt action when needed, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.
Sports
Our campus features a well-maintained badminton court along with a dedicated turf that accommodates volleyball, cricket, and football, providing students with excellent facilities for sports and recreation.

Orientation programs are organized for new students to help them settle into campus life with ease. In addition, regular training sessions are conducted to enhance students’ academic and professional growth. Our faculty members are friendly and approachable, creating a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable sharing their concerns or asking for guidance at any time.
Conveyance
The college provides convenient transportation for students to attend clinical postings. Buses operate regularly from the college to the clinic locations and back, ensuring safe and timely travel for all.
